Meet the Founder
Kristen Kneidel, RN, BSN
Kristen Kneidel, RN, BSN is a highly skilled nurse injector who found her passion for injecting in 2014. Kristen has been an RN since 1997 and brings her knowledge of products, patient safety, and her art of injecting to give her patients a natural, refreshed look. Kristen provides cosmetic consultations and injectable treatments including Botox, Dysport, a full range of hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra, and Kybella. She deeply values ongoing continuing education in order to maintain the most advanced techniques in the industry. Kristen has a gentle, honest, and caring approach, and through her art, she creates a unique, individualized treatment plan designed to help each of our Kansas City med spa patients look and feel their best.
“I have a sincere passion for what I do because I truly love the artistry and celebrating each individual's unique beauty. My goal is not to distract from that uniqueness, but, rather, to enhance it. I value doing thorough assessments, understanding the client and their expectations, and educating them on the best treatment plan. When trust is built and a relationship is formed, they begin to understand that they will be getting a natural soft result every time that translates well to friends, family, and coworkers. They feel refreshed and not overdone. It's about nuances. ...The slightly lifted cheek, the dark circles that have diminished, a stronger chin, the slightly sharper jawline, the softer lines in the forehead. It's decreasing shadows, adding light, and lift to the face rather than having the obvious injectable appearance so many people are afraid of getting."
Alexis Bolan LE, CLT,
Alexis Bolan LE, CLT, Director of Growth and Operations is a Licensed Medical Esthetician, Certified Laser Technician, and serves as the Director of Growth and Operations at The Aesthetic Place. Alexis brings more than a decade of experience in medical aesthetics, with advanced training in laser treatments and RF microneedling. As both a provider and director, she is passionate about elevating the client experience through education, clinical excellence, and the ongoing development of her team.
She believes informed clients achieve the best outcomes and takes pride in helping each person understand the “why” and “how” behind their treatment plan, empowering them to make confident decisions throughout their skincare journey.
Cheryl Evans RN, BSN
Cheryl Evans RN, BSN
path to aesthetic medicine is shaped by a unique blend of business leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for helping others feel confident.
After earning her degree in business management, she spent several years managing a medical spa, where she developed a deep appreciation for the impact of aesthetic treatments. Inspired to expand her clinical knowledge, she returned to school to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Today, Cheryl is a Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro Critical Care. Her ICU experience has strengthened her precision, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety- qualities that translate seamlessly into aesthetic medicine.
Beginning in July 2026, Cheryl will further her aesthetic training through a comprehensive nurse mentorship with our founder, Kristen, gaining advanced, hands-on experience and education in aesthetic medicine.
Kaycee Scibona LE, CLT
Kaycee Scibona LE, CLT is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician who specializes in results-driven, personalized skincare. With a strong foundation in medical aesthetics and advanced laser technology, Kaycee brings a results-oriented approach to modern skincare. Her expertise includes laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, and corrective protocols tailored to each client’s unique goals.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence, she blends clinical precision with a luxury-level client experience. Kaycee’s philosophy centers on achieving natural, refined results that enhance confidence and elevate self-care.
Angela Keith, Operations Coordinator
Angela is a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator with a background in aesthetics and business administration. With experience as an administrative assistant, she excels in customer service, organization and patient support. Passionate about skin care and helping others, she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Her commitment to excellence ensures that every patient receives personalized guidance on their aesthetic journey.
Dr. Paul Doskey, M.D.
Dr. Paul Doskey is a board-certified anesthesiologist that completed an internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and medical school at the University of Kansas. He has been in practice in Kansas and Missouri since 2000 and had been involved in aesthetics since 2012. He is currently the associate Chairman of Anesthesia at Kansas City VA hospital, an associate professor at the University of Missouri, and an associate professor at the University of Kansas. Dr. Doskey oversees all areas of the Aesthetic Place Practice.
